Our Donors and Partners

RIVERA & RIVERA ACT AGAINST FORECLOSURE INC. are in partnership with the City of Springfield Office of Community Development,  in Massachusetts. Using the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) worth $20,000, we provide low- and moderate-income people, unemployed individuals, the homeless, the underprivileged, and the most vulnerable groups impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Every Saturday, we provide lunch to people in different locations every week from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. And once a month, we give a bag of perishable food items and cleansing supplies. We do this to keep the community safe and help prevent the virus from spreading. We’ll do this once a month (September to December 2020).

We would like to express our gratitude to the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts for giving our organization $25,000. We’ll use the money to provide the basic needs of people throughout the Hamden County. These include breakfast from 8:30 a.m. - 11:00a.m. and lunch from12:00-2:00p.m. in 5 different locations through-out the Hampden County (July17, 2020 - August 31, 2020)

Our organization will help address the problems in food security and other basic needs. We will help the community stay safe and healthy by providing face masks to underprivileged and homeless people. We will also help in preventing the virus from spreading by serving the most vulnerable and impacted populations. With the help of our new partners we have fed over 16,000 individuals up to date.

Once Again we thank the Community Foundation Of Western MA  for the Operation Grant 2020 awarded to Rivera & Rivera Act Against Foreclosure Inc. who is now able to operate out of the office for the next two months due to the $10,000 dollars Operation Grant 2020  to better serve the community.
